Samsung Ballie - A new home Companion AI robot for your home .

This is a small robot which is of shape of ball size which is capable of moving around any corner of house . It is AI enabled that can be very useful in controlling any devices like a google home .

Ballie is powered by Google Gemini Multi Modal AI . It has a similar resemblance to Pixar s Walle .

Ballie navigates autonomously across surfaces using a blend of LiDAR, Time-of-Flight sensors, and high-resolution cameras (4K front, 2K rear). This enables efficient mapping, obstacle avoidance, and movement across different rooms.

One of Ballie’s most eye-catching features is its integrated Full HD projector. With a dual-lens (and possible triple-laser) setup, it adapts the image size and angle based on ambient light and viewer position. 3. Voice & AI Interaction

Personal wellness guidance, such as sleep optimization or exercise tips when you say, “I feel tired.”

Smart home control, like managing lighting, reminders, and daily routines—but in a more personalized and anticipatory way.

Ballie acts as a living hub for your connected devices. Through Samsung SmartThings integration (and even infrared for legacy appliances), it can control lights, thermostats, TVs, and more. Its mobility allows it to serve commands wherever you are, not just at a stationary point.

Beyond just tech, Ballie offers peace of mind: it can monitor pets or loved ones, sending video updates while you're out. It also personalizes everyday experiences—projecting workout routines while you exercise or reminding you of today's schedule.

Launch : as of Aug 2025 we have news that Samsung is already planning to launch as the pre-registration is now open . Will update once the product is launched.

ASUS Indiblogger Meet 2015

Finally after a Long time Bangalore could witness first indiblogger meet of 2015 that was Asus indiblogger meet.It was very exiting to witness most of new bloggers at scene or can say first timer at indiblogger event.One new thing i could witness at even was "show your ID card and enter inside". This was the first time i have seen this since i had attended many indiblogger meets.

Evening at event started with headbanging music by indiblogger team followed by Hurrrrrrrr by anoop ,which he usually does at the start to wake all bloggers at the event , to bring in energy among indi bloggers. Asus was the main theme at the meet.The official hashtag at the event was #gosleeekasusexperience .

There were two products of Asus displayed at the event .Product manager David did the presentation on Asus Eebook X205 and Asus AIO PC. Indeed the most sleek and powerful gadgets at the event.I was amazed by the light weight eebook which is very very sleek and less than 1kg if weight.AIO ET2040 was another all in one PC which had gesture control. The design was superb and very portable .Felt like taking AIO home from that event.Unique thing about those gadgets was they are very affordable and priced around 15k and 26k respctively.End of the presentation was followed by QA which was very informative. I had a look at both the gadgets and it was very good to review the same.

That was followed by as usual blogger activities and lots of fun .It was good to meet bloggers after a long time .Had lots of fun at the event.At last the dinner and then head home after event. ASUS indiblogger was a memorable event and i would like to thank indiblogger team for making this event happen that too the first blogger meet of 2015 in Bangalore

In current era of gadgets becomes sleeker and sleeker , More the sleek more the look and feel of the gadgets.Gone are the days when desktops were big box shaped and huge design which was bulky and heavy.we still remember we had to make separate arrangement just for keeping desktop in a space constraint house .The current trend of gadget freak people is compact and light weight.Either the desktop or laptop it should be easier to carry or easier to relocate at any point of time to any place of choice . The features that influenced me in  ASUS EeeBook X205TAare not one but many.The main feature is the design and built, its very very sleek and very light weight.This makes the laptop very easy to carry anywhere.I would like to list down all the features that are interesting to share and those featues are very new and different .

2) Checklist for Multi Tasker (TAB) : ( CONVENIENCE STARTS HERE )

• Battery : What is the standby time ? How long will it last if i am on a call/online/watching movie?
• Connectivity : Does the tab have Wi-Fi 3G? Can i make phone calls from tab ?
• Operating System : Which OS is it running on ? Which version ?
• Multi-media : How much can i store and where ? what format do the files need to be saved in ?
• Enterprise : Which apps will optimize the tab ? Does the tab have bluetooth/NFC? What are email / networking features?
• Camera : Does it have front and back camera? What is the camera's resolution and lens quality ?
• Screen : What is the size and resolution of the tab ?

3) Checklist for the photography enthusiast : ( CAPTURE IT , CREATE IT , SHARE IT )

• Camera : What is the resolution ? Does the phone have a front camera ?
• Flash : How powerful is the flash ? Can i use flash while recording the video?
• HD/HDR : can i shoot images and videos in HD/HDR ?
• Storage : How many photos and vidoes can it store ?
• Apps : Which apps suit my need to edit,enhance,correct?
• Camera Sensor : How does the sensor impact image quality?
• Screen : What is the size,pixel,density,resolution and material of the screen?
• Balance/Zoom : How much can i zoom? Does it have an image stabilizer?
• Phone Features : How many different effects does the camera app have ? Will it auto detect a smile ? Can i record slow motion video ? 

4) Check list for performance seeker :( DREAM IT , CREATE IT , DELIVER IT )

• Enterprise services : Does the phone offers enterprise services such as document readers,email,contact management etc.
• Theft protection : Can i detect the phone remotely ? what theft detection apps can i install ?
• Encryption : How does the phone offer privacy-Lock code/face Detection/gesture control?
• Screen : Can i read comfortably on the phone ? Does it display true colors ?
• Apps : How can apps optimize the phone ?
• Back-up : How can i prevent loss of the phone's data ?
• Climate resistance : How does the phone handle water,sunlight and hard impact ?

These were few important checklist rather i would term it as " think before you buy funda ".

Coming to the available gadgets at store , one gadget strikes me the most and that is LG Pocket photo printer .

The very important feature of this gadget is , printer does not require any ink cartridge or any other ink source , all that you require is just photo paper from LG .  I was told that it could print upto 15 prints at once . Source of charge would be lithium -ion battery . This particular gadget supports both NFC and bluetooth . To make things easier this gadget can be carried easily any where for trips or any other occasions. We bloggers got a opportunity to take a close look at the device and we got a live demo from store manger .
